OUR THESIS

India generates 1,70,000 tonnes of waste a day. The bottleneck isn't technology — it's logistics.

Processing plants exist. Regulations now demand compliance. What's missing is the organised collection layer connecting one to the other. That's what we built.

THE PARADOX

A plant built for 343 tonnes a day, running at a third of that.

The EverEnviro Bio-CNG facility in Naini (Prayagraj) is designed to process 343 tonnes of organic waste daily. Today it runs at roughly a quarter to a third of that capacity — not because the demand for clean energy isn't there, but because clean, segregated feedstock rarely reaches the gate. Municipal collection trucks deliver mixed, contaminated waste that damages digesters built for pure organic input.

Bhoomika exists to close exactly this gap — collecting clean, segregated organic waste directly from commercial generators (hotels, markets, hospitals, campuses) and delivering it straight to the processor, every day, on record.

WHY NOW

Macro shifts driving the industry

New rules, real teeth

The Solid Waste Management Rules, 2026 make source segregation and documented disposal mandatory for every Bulk Waste Generator — with financial penalties for non-compliance.

Judicial pressure

In February 2026, the Supreme Court of India ruled that waste mismanagement engages the constitutional right to life — turning compliance from best practice into legal obligation.

Corporate reporting requirements

SEBI's BRSR framework now requires India's largest listed companies to report verified waste data — and that requirement flows down to their vendors and properties.

National policy backdrop

Bhoomika operates inside a national ecosystem. The Government of India's GOBARdhan scheme is building the Bio-CNG sector nationwide, and Uttar Pradesh is at the forefront. Nationally, feedstock availability and consistent collection are recognised as the sector's central bottleneck — precisely the gap Bhoomika is built to close.

THE RULES WE DON'T BREAK

Our non-negotiable principles

No Segregation, No Pickup — we refuse contaminated loads at the gate, every time.

Full documentation on every load — no exceptions.

Full protective equipment for every worker, every shift.

We prove it works in one zone before we expand to the next.

COMPANY MILESTONES

Our Roadmap

August 2026

Route 1 Production Launch

The initial launch of Bhoomika Eco's pilot route in Prayagraj. Daily EV collection from commercial generators with direct delivery to Bio-CNG processors.

Phase 2 (Late 2026)

Client Dashboard & Localization

Release of the secure B2B portal allowing hotels and mandis to instantly download their monthly SWM 2026 compliance certificates, alongside a native Hindi platform toggle.

Phase 3 (2027+)

Scale & Investment

Expansion of fleet logistics, opening of seed funding rounds, and dedicated investor relations reporting to scale our zero-landfill model across Uttar Pradesh.

FOUNDERS' NOTE

"We didn't start Bhoomika with a master business plan. We started with a question that wouldn't leave us alone: how does a country that just hosted the largest human gathering on earth still send most of its organic waste to rot in a landfill? The technology to fix this already exists. What's missing is someone willing to do the unglamorous work in between—collecting honestly, documenting everything, and showing up every single day whether anyone is watching or not.

So that's what we do. We built Bhoomika to be that missing link. We started with a single vehicle and one route. Ninety days to prove it works before promising anything bigger.

We will make mistakes along the way. But the reason we started won't change: waste isn't the end of something's usefulness—it's a resource that lost its way home. We don't measure ourselves by how big we get, but by how much waste never reaches a landfill because we decided to show up."
